My Work

I've spent my time turning my passion into reality.

My research focused on enhancing existing methods of preventing AI voice phishing, a crime involving the use of voice conversion to imitate victims’ voices. By applying explainable AI (XAI) techniques to adversarial attacks, critical components of the voice were identified, and targeted perturbations were applied to these areas. This approach reduced the perceptibility of changes by up to 14% while maintaining attack performance.

Research on preventing AI Voice Phishing

I designed a lightweight, cost-effective robotic arm to reduce lifting strain for workers in physically demanding industries. Built with torque, cables, a pulley system, and an EMG sensor, it amplifies muscle movement using Arduino and 3D printing, offering an affordable solution.

Edtech company, Research Intern

Huemone Lab is an educational technology company that provides services to public schools. (https://huemoneedu.com/about)

As a research intern, I tested the learning curricula on their C language education website and developed an Arduino-based robotic arm designed to enhance lifting strength for individuals with disabilities.

Personality testing website for UNESCO promotion

I created a new CAPTCHA system that uses directional sound to assist visually impaired users. Current audio-based CAPTCHAs are often too difficult, so I developed a simpler method where users identify the direction of sound.

Exo-skeleton arm for manual laborers

I developed a chatbot (www.dreamcraft.kr) to improve economic literacy and provide information about subsidies for foster youth aging out of care. Foster youth often struggle with money management after becoming independent. The chatbot answers practical economics questions and recommends personalized subsidies based on user information.

Economics Teacher Chatbot for foster youth

To promote Korean UNESCO cultural heritage among younger generations, I created a personality test website integrating the popular MBTI framework. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the site matches users to a UNESCO heritage site based on their MBTI type and provides detailed information and media about the site to enhance understanding.
