Chatbot website for
self-reliant youth

Self-reliant youth refers to individuals who must live independently after turning 18, having left child welfare institutions, group homes, or foster care. They are often called foster youth as well, for its familiarity. Recent tragic incidents have raised awareness of the fact that they lack financial literacy and access to information on subsidies. This project aims to address the economic and financial challenges self-reliance youth encounter, by informing government subsidies and economic knowledge through a chatbot.

As a result, this chatbot has improved the existing system in several ways. First, by consolidating information from multiple websites, it allows users to conveniently view all details in one place. Additionally, when users can input their personal information, corresponding government support programs are automatically displayed. The chatbot also enables personalized economic education for individuals.
